MY STORY

For me, art is like the air I breathe. I see in it transformation, and the opportunity to create beauty and move people.

THE EXPRESSION

As far back as I can remember, I have been drawing. It has always been this way. As if my way of seeing the world flows directly through my fingertips.

I am an artist, and I was born to recreate the world around me.

When I was about eight years old, my mother — noticing my hyperactivity — enrolled me in porcelain painting classes, a surface very similar to tile. There, on the balcony of an apartment in Copacabana, surrounded by plants and birds, I would find calm. In silence, I painted for hours on end, immersed in colors and shapes. It was in that space that I discovered the transformative power of art and how it could become a refuge.

My passion for painting began early, and I knew that one day I wanted to create a tile panel, like the great masters. It was a dream. But the journey to get here was full of curves and discoveries.

I have always been deeply influenced by the work of the great masters. Joan Miró, with his freedom of form and vibrant colors, revealed to me a playful and poetic universe, where art unfolds as a game of symbols and boundless imagination.

Giorgio Morandi, on the other hand, taught me the value of profound simplicity — austere, almost like a visual prayer. His restrained palette and silent still lifes have always moved me like music without sound.

Another master who left me spellbound was Rembrandt. The light in his paintings was not merely technical; it was a dive into the human soul. His use of chiaroscuro did more than reveal forms — it told stories of unparalleled depth. And so many others, each encounter leaving indelible impressions on my memory.

A contemporary artist who marked a true turning point in my journey was Joseph Beuys. His installations and performances, rich in meaning, opened my eyes to a new way of understanding art. His famous phrase, “Make your secrets productive,” was transformative for me. It helped me realize that the greatest value lay in the most hidden corners of my soul — in what seemed invisible, yet contained an entire universe.

ARCHITECTING

I graduated in Fine Arts, specialized in painting, and have always been fascinated by the power a canvas has to move people emotionally. Yet, deep down, I often wondered if that was enough for me. Could I truly transform lives simply by painting?

This question led me to seek new paths. In the end, transformation has always been what drives my creativity.

Five years ago, I embarked on a new journey alongside my daughter, Hana. We began working together with architecture and interior design. I had always been drawn to these fields and had previously explored this universe when I ran a design agency. It was then that my passion for innovation and transformation grew even stronger. Each project became a new opportunity to create something unique and original.

Hana has a special love for tiles and the endless possibilities they offer. Living so closely with this process, I felt a strong calling to go further. I wanted to create something exclusive — something that could translate emotion and life in a truly singular way.

THE CHANGE

In the midst of all this, I also made a radical decision: I exchanged the intensity of Rio de Janeiro for the peace of the mountains. A childhood dream fulfilled. I had always longed to be closer to nature — to feel the fresh wind, walk barefoot on the earth, and watch the seasons change before my eyes. My soul needed that. Amid so many commitments and responsibilities, I couldn’t drift away from my essence.

It was only in the silence of nature that I could reconnect with this inexhaustible source of creation.

Last year, I took a quantum leap to change my reality.

I still move back and forth to Rio to follow projects, but my soul is here — surrounded by green, inspired by what truly matters.

And so I continue, transforming and reinventing myself. Creating, innovating, and finally, moving people.

A DREAM COME TRUE

And then, after this long journey, I fulfilled a great dream: I created the La Mer Panel. A 12-meter-long artwork, filled with color and life, that moves everyone who enters the home of this young couple.

Seeing the piece come alive and deeply impact people was the confirmation that everything had been worth it. Suddenly, my entire path — every turn along the way — made sense.
But this was only the first page of a new chapter.

La Mer opened the door to an even broader universe of possibilities.
I am now developing new panels, exploring fresh forms of expression through furniture, creating sculptures, and even floor interventions — transforming spaces into sensory experiences, almost like living installations.

ART AS A MEANS

Art, for me, has never been an end, but a path. A continuous process of discovery, where every stroke, every material, every choice carries a story and an emotion.

My vision of Art

“Art is the delicate hand that shapes the raw soul, transforming human beings into elevated beings, aware of their own light and of the infinite that lives within them.”

My life seems almost like a movie, a script carefully crafted by destiny to bring me here. But I know there are still many scenes to come, many creations waiting to be born.

And I continue, tirelessly, transforming and reinventing myself.

Creating, innovating, and ultimately, inspiring.

Life is a miracle.
