The design of this tile artwork was developed in close connection with the interior design project. At the clients’ request, the balcony was integrated into the living room, creating a space where the couple could relax after a long day.
 

Since the armchairs face inward toward the living area, I felt it was important that the artwork on the dining room wall carried deep meaning for the couple, who often welcome their grandchildren and family into their home.
 

With this in mind, I created the painting Memories in Hieroglyphs — my personal interpretation of objects, photographs, and references collected by the couple over the years, representing their family history.

There is nothing quite like sitting in an armchair in a new home and contemplating a piece of art created especially for you. In a playful and poetic way, each tile represents a moment of family life, coming together as a meaningful mosaic of memories.
