The clients wished to bring the atmosphere of the sea into their dining room and asked for a panel with a realistic reference — not entirely abstract.
 

The apartment is located near the ocean in Rio de Janeiro. The couple is deeply connected to art and travel and wanted a piece that would reflect their lifestyle and way of living.

Nature is my greatest source of inspiration.
 

Taking advantage of the wall’s generous scale, I created a landscape using multiple tile-painting techniques — watercolor, brushwork, and drawing.
 

Through this panel, I intentionally introduced a question for the observer:

Is it a landscape with trees, or the depths of the sea with corals?
 

In this way, we don’t quite know whether we are above the water or beneath it. This ambiguity invites reflection and leaves space for imagination to wander freely.

The artwork was conceived in shades of blue, exploring the reflective white of the tiles to enhance natural light and harmonize with the architectural and interior design project.

In this panel, the observer completes the experience.
 

The couple was deeply moved and said:

“You captured our soul.”
