The client had taken a trip to Spain and was enchanted by the Alhambra, an Arab citadel, palace and fortress that is considered the eighth wonder of the world.
I immersed myself in research into references and how Arabic designs and arabesques are constructed.

By coincidence I had visited Alhambra and it had impacted my soul, with so much beauty and artistic sophistication.

Now the challenge has been created and it's time to let your imagination flow and bring all this printing and art to reality, a gourmet counter...

I presented two creative proposals and the one that the clients were delighted with was the reinterpretation of Arabic writing.

I proposed three shades of blue, which blend together and wander across the tiles in a sinuous tangle of curvilinear shapes.
Exploring the reflective white of the tiles, I left space between the shapes for the dance of the painting to happen....
They loved the proposal and were moved...

More than tiles it is Art.
